NSGP FY2026 — Federal Program
Up to $600,000
The federal FY2026 NSGP cycle ($300M nationwide; up to $200,000 per site, max $600,000 per organization) has moved from application to review: state windows closed in July 2026 and submitted applications are under review, with award decisions expected on a state-by-state timeline. Meanwhile, FY2025 NSGP awards were announced in August 2026 — in Ohio, only 23 of 85 applicants were funded, and several of them are Ikhlas Solutions clients. Missed FY2026? The FY2027 NOFO is expected mid-2027 — the strongest applications start with a security assessment months in advance.

NSGP — Latest Intelligence
Updated from state agency communications • August 23, 2026
Ohio EMA — August 10, 2026
FY2025 NSGP award notifications issued. Ohio funded only 23 of 85 applicants (~27%) — several of them Ikhlas Solutions clients. Grant agreements are expected by the end of September 2026; no grant-funded work may begin until each agreement is executed and the federal EHP review is cleared.
FY2026 Cycle — Closed July 2026
FY2026 state application windows have closed (most between July 10–15, 2026). Submitted applications are under state and federal review; award announcement timing varies by state — several SAAs report no FY2025 information yet, so FY2026 decisions will also roll out unevenly. We monitor every state where our clients applied.
Looking Ahead — FY2027
The FY2027 NSGP NOFO is expected mid-2027, with state windows that are typically short and compressed. The organizations that win are the ones that walk in prepared — schedule your facility security/vulnerability assessment with us now so your application is ready on day one.
